well received…
May 30, 2009
Well it’s official.
i have been well received by the people of Barrie, Ontario, Canada.
Last night Jordan Dean and I played an open mic night at this great pub downtown Barrie called…
McReileys.
Last week we attempted this same thing with not such a great experience.
But this week…..
IT WAS AWESOME.
We had such a great time, played a few songs.
the crowd and I even did a little duet on “Come Together”
who doesn’t love a little intoxicated sing a-long.
It was such a great time and I am so thankful for that.
See if we can bring down the house next week.
much love,
-k

Live/ Love

Life is not perfect.
There are many things in life that we have no explination for and no understanding of.
Life just happens.
I believe that it’s not so much the decisions we make that makes us who we are, but rather how we handle those decisions and life changes.
It’s how we cope, and learn and come out of those times in life, those situations that molds our character.
I think that we as humans have this internal desire to control everything around us. To understand every part of life. To know the reason and the process behind eveything.
But here’s the truth….. WE CAN’T.
Life is life and there is no science behind it. What may be good for one person may not be good for another. Because we are all individual.
We are all living different lives.
This is something I believe we all must take understanding in.
I think we easily loose sight in the fact that the root of living is loving.
I like to believe that is why the words are so similar. Live and love. One letter difference.
I believe that when we start accepting life and loving through it, is when we truly start to understand the meaning of living. It’s just silly to think we can control everything in this life. We have to roll with the punches and push through all the crap and accept….
The good with the bad.
We have to love our life.
When we waste our time and emotion on fearing the unknown, the uncontrolable, we arnt living. We are merely exsisting. Living in fear.
We have to know that life is not a plan, it’s not schedule or a routine, it’s not a timeline or a concept.
It’s a journey.
A journey that’s different for everyone.
A story that everyone is the lead role in.
Life isn’t meant to be confined to a routine or a plan.
It’s meant to be an adventure. It’s meant to be a experience and an oppertunity.
It’s meant to be loved.
It’s meant to be lived.
