ARTISAN DAY!
Yesterday i enjoyed a day of Pittsburgh’s finest artisan attributes.
From The Andy Warhol Museum:
the silver cloud room, the elvis, the amazing up close and personal silk screen where you could see Warhols penciled in marks….amazing.
To the Oh Yea! Ice Cream Shop:
an ice cream shop where the focus is hardly just on the ice cream it self.
The unique ice cream experience challenges the normal ice cream lover to come out of their box and try ice cream in a whole new way. Along with ordinary mix-ins like oreo’s, resse’s, and butterfingers this ice cream shop takes the cake for the un-ordinary. Unusual mix-ins like: smoked salmon, olive oil, wheat grass, habanero, fire nuts, dates, coffee grounds…the list goes on and on and on. Anything imaginable.
They had a sushi cone… need i say more?

Here is my DELICIOUSLY PURPLE ice cream consisting of: vanilla ice cream, cracklin’ oat bran, oatmeal raisin cookie, and blueberries. mmmmmm.
yummmmmmmy!
My two lovely companions for this day of enlightenment: Rob and Mollie.
Rob and Mollie enjoyed the sushi cone! yikes!
(sushi cone: vanilla ice cream, smoked salmon, avocado, ginger…)

It was a great day followed by a great night of friends and laughs.
