So i’ve made my way to the north here in Pittsburgh, PA.

I cant tell you how much i truly love some parts of this city, the industrial buildings, the northern accents, and the people i have the pleasure of spending time with. It is nothing short of a perfect getaway.

I arrived here on wednesday afternoon and was greeted with a lovely 71 degree sunny day with the scent of summer through the breeze. It was as if Pittsburgh itself was welcoming me to its great city. I made certain to embrace it with a good hello and a kiss on the cheek. 

Im so glad to be here, and to anyone who enjoys a good travel, i do hope you visit this city one day.

More shows to come and a lovely CD release party coming up in September! This is the real deal people, THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER…… Katherine Mez is FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY releasing her CD….The ” Years” EP. So keep a good ear out for that!

Well im off to enjoy this awesome city, today the Greek Food Festival started…need i say more?

Ive been especially aware of how wonderful the mornings are lately.

Its just a time to grab some coffee and take in the general spender of the day yet to come. Its in the morning when my head seems to be most clear. It hasn’t been filled just quite yet with all the days thoughts and all that comes with that. Its just perfect for an early morning self reflection and a time to just breathe for the sake of breathing.

i think everyone should just take a morning to themselves…
