How did he feel like that? A better question…How did he put it into words? lyrics much less?

How does the heart survive such emotions? Such strength in feelings? How does it not collapse from stress or strain? How do we live through it? How does it love again? How do we love again?

Where does one love stop and another begin?

Maybe it’s that no love ever stops…. it just subsides, enabling us to overlap the love and start all over again

This is where the age old tale of first love comes from. The first person you give your heart to that magically you never seem to forget, or stop caring about. Even if there was alot of heartache and pain they still have this special place in your heart where you never forget them. Why is that? I think the only answer is first love syndrome. Theres something very special about the first time you fall in love that is like nothing else. I think its the first time you start thinking of yourself with another person, we live so long in the mind of singleness and then….BAM! We start thinking for two. And we attach. Its our nature to attach…and we do. I think thats why we never forget it. Its the first glimpse of what we hear about our while lives, or see in movies, or listen to in songs….its the first time we are apart of something thats bigger then we are

Things in the studio are moving alot amazingly. I cant believe how great the project is coming alot and involving. I got the first rough track today. im so excited for whats to come.

The Swich CD Release PARTY!

So theres been alot of great things happening.

I had a few meetings this week with a producer friend of mine, David Zaffiro. I’ve know this guy pretty much my entire life he and i have written a few times in the past couple of years for other people and for pitches.  So just the other day we decided we were going to work on some songs together for my new project. This guy is a hit maker and an incredible producer, he’s one of those guys where everything he’s involved with turns to GOLD. I’m very anxious to start writing. I think its gonna be just the edge i need for this new project. You gotta have a few hits ya’ know.

The new project is taking such good form its a very classic rock- bluesy - folk feel. Like Led Zeppelin meets Patty Griffin meets Sheryl Crow (circa 1996)/ Bonnie Raitt with a little Janis Joplin idea in there…… haha quite the mix huh? I know its a wide range but its gonna be good. You’ll be glad you bought it when you do…

It feels soo good to be moving forward with this, at a a good pace too. I just feel like im just being lined up just at the right time for some great things.

In other news:

I got together the other night with my good friend and a oh-so-talented guitar player Daniel Demonico . He plays for a lot of artists in Nashville right now, he is amazing, look him up. But we got together for some drinks and food and just talked about our lives and all that that entails. It never ceases to amaze me how much i learn from him. He just has such a good outlook on life and love and music and just about most things (not all things but most). He’s just a really great guy. It was just really good to talk to him about whats in the works for me and get his two cents.
